Besides a get-together over a cup of coffee/tea she would teach me to make a dream catcher. Weaving the web is a real patience exercise but I did it. Happy with the result.

When leaving I saw a bush of dead wood in the garden. I found a beautiful branch with lovely patterns in different brown and reddish tones from Kerria Japonica Pleniflora.

  Kerria japonica – Yamabuki  – lit. mountain breath – a Buddhist symbol for mono-no-aware

Took it home with me. Immediately started to work on the branch. Gave a finishing touch to my dream catcher. Both had to dry. The 1st thing this morning was working on the branch to fix the dream catcher on it.
