ALBION

Reading the weekly horoscope at https://www.hareinthemoonastrology.co.uk/weekly-forecasts I came across something new: Albion. Interesting. So I searched the net about it and came across various websites I linked down here.

The Myth – This minor planet was named after Albion from the complex mythology of English poet and painter William Blake (1757–1827). Albion is the island-dwelling primeval man whose division resulted into The Four Zoas: Urizen, Tharmas, Luvah/Orc, and Urthona/Los. The name Albion itself derives from the ancient and mythological name of Britain. The official naming citation was published by the Minor Planet Center on January 31st, 2018 – it was normally referred to simply as “QB1”, even though this was technically ambiguous without the year of discovery.
In the mythical story of the founding of Britain, Albion was a Giant son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. He was a contemporary of Heracles, who killed him. Albion founded a country on the island and ruled there. Britain, then called Albion after its founder, was inhabited by his Giant descendants until about 1100 years before Julius Cæsar’s invasion of Britain, when Brutus of Troy came and defeated the small number of Giants that remained (as a group of the Giants had killed all the others). The long, unfinished poem properly called Vala, or The Four Zoas expands the significance of the Zoas, but they are integral to all of Blake’s prophetic books.

Albion: Albion was the very first object discovered beyond Pluto (hence its low catalog number compared to the others). It’s much too small to be a Dwarf planet (being only 62% the diameter of Chiron) but is still notable as being the gateway to humanity’s awareness of a new area of the solar system, including all the larger Dwarf planets that were later discovered. Mythological Albion was a Giant that tried to prevent Hercules from passing after completing the last of his Labors. Albion is also the source from which Britain gets its name. In my case this will be the last barrier. Finally finding the group I belong to, new friends and new places, working my magic in the community. All I want for my future years after many years of inner work and the transition of this really pattern changing years 2020 – 2024. A glimpse of what to come arrived 2 weeks ago when a neighbor told me that municipality was planning to restyle our square with a rose garden. I remembered a dream of years ago when the dream showed that I leave all the old behind me and flee from it through the rose garden. The rose garden will come in autumn this year…..wish me luck to find my new place and home as far as possible away from the recent one. A place in the woods, near water or at water front, quiet surroundings, no neighbors, noisy airports or event locations. Just nature and me and eventually a dog and horses around. One has to have dreams even at my age. Keeps one young and alive.

 

Facing Fear – Hyperventilation

After all shores were done there it was – out of nowhere – hyperventilation. Haven’t had that in years. Not easy to calm down even with controlled breathing. Finally I had to lay down and it took more than an hour. Still feel heavy but had to paint what I …saw…or….felt….

No idea what just happened.

 

Future Home

Today, after finally able to enjoy my garden due to beautiful warm weather, I started painting intuitively my future home. Now let that sink in.

Hidden in the flames

After the last painting and working with its message, there had to be another one done. The message of the painting was clean-out. Today was the day. But leading up to this on Friday I first found a little branch and put it into a good cleaning bath with sea salt.Today I worked on the little fellow first.

Continued with the painting you see here. After a long session working with the painting I learned a lot. Very old energy’s are leaving the building, the left side of the painting. Behind the flames there is a white face. In this photo it is not that obviously and as a matter of fact – it took me 2 days to see it finally now the painting is dry. With only my handy camera I can’t get it right. There is a lot more to the equation and it will take its time……

This evening, April, 28, I finally succeeded to catch the hidden face from aside although with bad light. Do you see it?

Process Painting

Late night Easter action, a new process painting started. Another had to be done simultaneously.

They belong together was the first idea but how to mingle them. I was eager to come to an idea and almost got angry over the process. That was actually the theme of the process I am in actually. Taking your power without first getting angry. How that work with me I already know. Experienced this during a walk with a backpack on. Got angry by the load of that thing and suddenly I walked faster en energetic. While thinking of all this I suddenly had the idea. What is the power explode through the big painting….I cut the painting, trimmed it burned and there it was.

The Year of the Dragon

Intuitive painting with eyes closed under the second new moon into the Year of the Dragon.

A week has gone by and it is clearer what’s happening inside and why the drawing. Reading https://hansplanje.nl/blog An astrological preview of 2024 ( in dutch) , I started to see the line here. What is going on now is a follow-up of what happened in February/ March 2022. Looked that up. Back then I painted the coming down into the 1st Chakra – that’s what it was as I know now.

The red/black painting is the follow up.

There in the middle you can see someone carrying a child. The child now is finally joining the game again after years of hiding and waiting. The original one. She painted the happy, positive, optimistic green painting. The introvert part is sitting to the right as a shadow and the still angry part made her mark with the dark line like saying ‘I don’t think so’ . The coming weeks this will develop.

Looking forward to March. May sound a bit nuts to you, but all of my life my new year starts on March 17. Always has been and always will. I have no explanation for it except that this is my name-day – named after Saint Gertrude of Nivelles.

Squirrel again

As I wrote on November 23, 2023 the squirrel is involved in my process around the ancestor male line.Former life’s in China and Switzerland and what happened back than two.

Last year Swiss artist Barbara Bühler ( @barbarapabu.bsky.social) drew squirrels for a drawing assignment. Among them one squirrel in Chinese style and I asked her if I could get it. Here it is.

Yesterday, January 20, 2024 we had the Sun-Pluto alignment and both leave Capricorn for Aquarius the next day. A big shift, certainly to me because I’m a Capricorn.

As I learned during my sessions, my squirrel is evolving and because today is Squirrel Appreciation Day, I finally painted my own squirrel.
